Ivy Walz, DMA  is a dedicated teaching artist, and is on the voice faculty at Ithaca College, School of Music. Here she teaches a vibrant studio of voice, musical theater and jazz majors. She also teaches voice lessons for high school aged students and adults of all singing levels.

She is a clinician who gives master classes on healthy singing techniques. Past workshops and classes have been taught for TCO Teens, Higher Voice Studio, College Audition Advantage, Affiliated Choruses of Ithaca, Denver Art Song Project High School Competition and other schools, colleges and universities.

Ivy Walz is also an active adjudicator and enjoys the opportunity to hear singers in this capacity. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and currently serves as treasurer for the Central New York Finger Lakes region. She is also a member of Classical Singer and other professional organizations.

She holds the Bachelor and Master of Music from Ithaca College, and the Doctor of Music Arts from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Please visit Faculty Profile at Ithaca College School of Music for more information.
